What makes you passionate about working in childcare? Seeing children learning and developing new skills is very rewarding. The looks on their faces when they achieve something that you have watched them work so hard at achieving. Seeing them grown from infants in to Preschool Graduates. The love that children can give to you on a daily basis is amazing and so rewarding love the way children make you feel just through a hug.
What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? There is never a dull day in Early Childhood. You cannot expect the same day to be the same as the last. Everyday I am learning something from the children, which allows me to reflect on my teaching styles, and ability to keep up with their individual needs and interests. I have had many memorable moments, but for me the one that comes to mind more so is watching my first group of infants graduate from Daisy’s to go to Big School. I was so proud, and appreciative that I had been a part of this journey with them. It certainly is rewarding.
Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? Each of the educators that work at Daisy’s are passionate, loving and quality educators. The children come first in our service, and we love to watch them grow and develop through teaching and learning through play. Our service is rated as exceeding in the National Quality Standard, and we strive to ensure this rating is maintained at all times.
Our service has large, natural outdoor play spaces, which allow the children to explore in their natural environments. We encourage messy play through natural resources such as gardening, mud play and an outdoor mud kitchen.
